Euphorbiaceae - seeds are explosive - as many succulents in this family as in cacti - most are tropical - we grow herbaceous ones - milky sap of this family sometimes caustic / poisonous - spreads rhizomatously - aggressive - moist but not overly moist soil - does not need good drainage - orange bracts yellow flowers - very symmetrical in 2's or 3's - spiral inflorescence
